Highlights
Finally the day has come. 090406. My 2 years and 4 months as an NSF has officially come to an end. Therefore, I've decided that I shall put away all the complaints and unhappiness and recap the memories of my NSF life and thank some of the people who have helped me along the way, which means this is gonna be quite a long entry! Hahaha.
I think I should go right to the point because I don't think there is really a need to do a stage by stage recap of my NSF life so I shall just touch on the highlights which I would say, happened all during my 2 year stay in Air Terminal Company, 3 TPT BN.
October 2004, I was given the chance to go to Rockhampton, Australia for Ex. Wallaby with my seniors and 4 other batchmates - Andy, Kangdi, Wenli and Yih Huat. It was totally different experience as when I travelled with Band. It was tougher, but there was fun too and it was then that the 5 of us bonded.
New Year's Eve, 30th December 2004, I was roped in to board LST 207 with my Platoon Commander (then) 2LT Eugene and other Bn mates to travel to Meulaboh to help out in the tsunami relief. The 24 days on board served as a reminder of how unpredictable life can be and therefore we should cherish ourselves and our loved ones more. It is also true honour to be able to be part of everything.
August 2005, Ashley, Dennis, Wenli, Yih Huat and I, together with 5 NSmen and a few commanders flew to Richmond, Australia for an overseas exercise. The stay was excellent and the trip was well-balanced with work and play. I got to see other parts of Australia (near Richmond) and re-visit Sydney as well! Of course there was chance to interact with Australians too!
October 2005, this time round, I went with almost the whole company to Rockhampton, Australia for Ex. Wallaby as a senior. It seemed to be an unspoken 'finale' to this NSF life although there was really a lot of work. But, it was a new experience, with new people and ultimately, it was a good trip.
That more or less sums up the highlights and I would really like to add that I've seen alot and learned alot. And at the same time, I've certainly grown quite a bit. Haha. In my next entry, I shall thank the people who have come into my life this 2 years and 4 months and created an impact.

Was kinda bored the other day so I went to the net to search for clarinet stuff... This instrument has been part of my life since Pri2 and somehow I still miss it after graduating from JC... Anyway what you see here is actually a 16cm miniature clarinet! I think it's reall nice. ahaha with all the keys and a stand... Only the mouthpiece part looks a lil' weird... =)

It's April already... Can you imagine how time just goes by? Anyway, after spending such a long long time, I've finally complete my... 1st piece of drawing for my portfolio. Hahahah... Ya ya I know what some of you must be thinking, that I've simply sepnt far too much time to complete just one piece. Well good news is I think I've sort of picked up a momentum so like I always said, once the 1st is done, it shouldn't take that long anymore.
Was watching Campus Superstar on Sunday and I must say Zhi Yang is really good! OK that is actually beside the point. What I wanna say is, looking at them compete and after everything, congratulate each other, hug one another etc etc, I actully felt kind of nostalgic. Suddenly I felt like I was brought back to JC times where we(band members) worked hard together, went for the competition together, await for the results together, laugh together, cry together (OK you get what I mean)... Those were innocent times and good memories...
